victoria coren marriage

It’s become an iconic TV moment : Scott and Charlene getting married in bad credit loans Neighbours in 1987. The music, the dress, the misty special-effects of a great (if cheesy) scene that captured our hearts. And then, of course, the romance for Kylie and Jason continued off screen and the magic doubled.
Office romance, a much debated affair, is a common way for any of us to find our life partners (or not-for-life partners) and so why shouldn’t TV personalities also find love ‘on the job’?

Yesterday’s news of and Victoria Coren’s engagement had been a well-kept secret in the world of TV romance.  Best known for Peep Show, Mock the Week Have I Got News For You and The 10 o’Clock Show David met the daughter of the late humorist and journalist, Alan Coren when they appeared together in The Bubble quiz show on BBC2 in 2010.

Victoria,  journalist, poker player and sister of the food critic, Giles, has hosted the BBC4 quiz show Only Connect since 2008.  Their romantic union, shrouded in secrecy, brings unsecured loans together two of today’s brightest TV talents. But with a combined 730,000 followers on Twitter, the love birds chose a less obvious but more traditional way of announcing their news, by placing an ad in the births, marriages and deaths column in The Times.
Let’s just hope that this TV relationship remains on air longer than previous box-set romances.  The rumoured affair between presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley (The One Show, 2007), DJ Chris Evans and teenage pop star Billie Piper (2001-2005), jungle lovers Katie Price and Peter Andre (I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2004- 2007) and countless Big Brother cupids are hardly episode dramas worth rewinding.

"I am disappointed that I left so early on but I'm not embarrassed." bad credit loans Apostolova is currently training to be a wealth unsecured loans manager for entrepreneurs.

John Carter, the early summer blockbuster is now in cinemas and as it has been such a hotly anticipated movie, is such an important project for Disney because of the money they have spent on it, and because our review of the film garnered so much discussion, we’ve created this post to hear your feedback on the movie.

Disney’s fantasy adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs unsecured loans’ sci-fi novel cost a whopping $250 million to make and Disney are banking on the expensive special effects and world threatening plot to the universe they have created to bring in the masses for what is a movie led mostly by unknowns.

Taylor Kitsch stars as John Carter, a war-weary, former military captain who is transported to Mars where he must save the world on the brink of collapse. Lynn Collins has the love interest role as the Princess Dejah Torris with more familiar names supporting the movie in Willem Dafoe, Mark Strong, Sammantha Morton, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Haden Church and more.

The film is the live-action directorial debut of Wall-E director Andrew Stanton.
Our very own Rob Beames reviewed John Carter last week and scored the movie 3 and a half stars out of five, calling it a “Lovingly Made Pulp Fantasy With Boring Human Characters”. You can read our review HERE.
But what did you think? Did you love the movie, are you planning on seeing it this weekend or have the trailers reminded you too much of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace bad credit loans  to bother seeing it!
We would love to hear your thoughts below…

Kiefer Sutherland new show

Kiefer Sutherland return to TV and Fox in 'Touch'
People, let's all just clear the air now: Kiefer Sutherland is not (I repeat, not) trying to escape the shadow of driven "24" hero Jack Bauer.
The actor, who appeared at the Television Critics Assn. press tour to promote his new series "Touch," was, understandably, peppered with numerous questions about his past life as the up-against-the clock special agent and whether his latest turn on Fox was an attempt to get audiences to forget about those eight years of adrenaline.
"Touch," created and written by Tim Kring ("Heroes"), centers around a father's relationship with his mute 11-year-old son, who has the ability to predict events and make connections.  In the process, the show often explores the relationship between spirituality and science.
When he was sent the script after playing Bauer for eight years, Sutherland was doing a theater production and wasn't ready to tackle another TV project, he recalled.
"I really wanted to spend some time apart from the amazing experience I had on '24' and try some different things," he said. "I was at page 35 [of the script], and I went ... 'I’m in real trouble,' because it was just so beautifully written."
OK. Whatever. But is this an attempt to get away from Jack Bauer?
Sutherland offered this: "It's nice diversion from '24,' yes. But the choice, and reason I made the choice, was because it spoke to me."
"The one parallel I can bring from the two characters," he added, "is that Jack Bauer was asked to save the day, and there was always bad credit loans going to be casualties. And Mark [Bohm] is never going to have the perfect idyllic relationship with his son. They both never completely win. For whatever reason, it's something I’m drawn to as an actor."
Settled? Not quite. Later in the panel,  Sutherland would find himself , once more, uttering the words: "It's not because I wanted to get away from '24.' "
What a relief, because now we really want to know unsecured loans what the status is on the "24" movie!
"Hopefully, we will be shooting at end of April, beginning of May," he said.
A preview of "Touch" will air Jan. 25. The series premiere is March 19.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a headless torso was found in the Regent's Canal.
Gemma McCluskieThe torso is believed to be that of former EastEnders actress Gemma McCluskie, who went missing from East London on Thursday 1st March. unsecured loans
Relatives and co-stars of Miss McCluskie, 29, were said by a source to be "fearing the worst" as Scotland Yard carried out forensic tests on the remains. Murder detectives discovered the bad credit loans limbless body yesterday.

Scarlett Johanssons New movie

In the furry and feathery world of "We Bought a Zoo," starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, basically everything in sight is in need of saving. Thankfully, it has filmmaker Cameron Crowe heading the rescue mission.
In lesser hands, a film so unashamed of its sentiment, so affectionate about its characters, so uplifting in its message would have landed in the maw of mushy that so often devours films like these. Instead we have an intelligent family film, a rarity, and while not quite Crowe at his absolute best, it carries his humanistic imprint and benefits from a strong acting ensemble that keep emotions unsecured loans in check.
Loosely based on a true story, the film follows the saga of single dad Benjamin Mee (Damon), whose solution to his family's woes comes from unexpected quarters. When looking for a new start for 7-year-old Rosie (Maggie Elizabeth Jones) and his boundary-testing, button-pushing teenager Dylan (Colin Ford), he stumbles across a crumbling country house that comes with a zoo, broken down in ways that echo his own fractured life.
The film's twist is served up in the title, the big-ticket item of the Rosemoor Animal Park, renamed from Mee's original and moved from Britain to Crowe's stomping ground of Southern California. Otherwise the screenplay, adapted by Aline Brosh McKenna and Crowe from Mee's book, follows bad credit loans along a pretty predictable path — there are obstacles to overcome and in the process family ties are tested. After a brief setup, the film dives right into the disastrous state of things at the zoo. Bringing things up to standard seems impossible; so is giving up. Even the truculent Dylan finds it hard to resist the animal magnetism of the lions and tigers and bears.
Besides Mee, a former newspaper columnist who is clearly in over his head, the crew undertaking desperate measures is an affable bunch anchored by Kelly (an apple-crisp Johansson), the no-nonsense head zookeeper/animal advocate, and her winsome teenage cousin Lily ("Super 8's" super Elle Fanning). John Michael Higgins turns up as Walter Ferris, the futzy inspector bent on shutting things down. So fabulous with the Shih Tzus in Christopher Guest's "Best in Show," the actor is meant to be in charge of comic relief. But he isn't given much in the thin reed of Walter, who seems destined to be outsmarted.
Where Ben and Rosie see a great adventure in the zoo life, Ben's more pragmatic brother Duncan (a nicely grouchy Thomas Haden Church) sees a money pit. Both are right. But this is a minor squabble. The most formidable conflict comes from 14-year-old Duncan. He feels unfairly exiled from his friends and his growing feelings for the free-spirited Lily only confuse him.
It's a bit over 2 hours, but the director keeps a brisk pace. Though he takes time when it's called for, digging into Duncan's isolation and the father-son friction, with Damon and Ford mining the frustration and affection typical of the teenage years to good effect. That the much-loved wife and mother is no longer there to run interference between them makes the stakes higher and the hurts cut deeper.
On the flip side, it's great watching Damon with Jones, who makes Rosie all about sunshine and flowers. There is such a sweetness when they are together that it's easy to believe someone would buy her a zoo, which thanks to cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto, Oscar-nominated for "Brokeback Mountain," looks to be a pretty idyllic spot. Meanwhile, Damon and Johansson do nice work keeping Ben and Kelly focused on fixing things, rather than flirtatious, which would have been the more typical way to go.
And then there is the music, long a signature element in Crowe's work. For "Zoo," it is as eclectic, mood-altering and appealing as anything else about the film with Iceland's Jónsi in charge of creating that sound. The ethereal, lyrical rocker, probably best known as the lead musician in Sigur Rós, composed several of the songs as well.
This seems to be the year for passion projects for the director. His energetic documentary "Pearl Jam Twenty" indulged his love of rock music, and now "Zoo" celebrates his love of family. Though neither movie reaches the level of Crowe's standout films — the autobiographical intimacy he achieved in 2000's "Almost Famous," which earned him a screenwriting Oscar, or the what-makes-Sammy-run electricity of 1996's "Jerry Maguire" — "Zoo" is definitely one from the heart.

Archer

The politically incorrect gem features great writing and one of the best voice casts on TV, writes Tim Goodman.

When FX announced in 2009 that it was creating an animated comedy, it was a bit of a head-scratcher. This was a channel where every show it ever created was rated MA. And the executive branch at FX surely knew that animation works best in bunches and flounders as a one-show stand-alone. Even with snark galore, wouldn't Adult Swimbe the de facto first choice for the target audience? How was Archer, a kind of twisted James Bond-style premise, going to work?
As it turns out, by being insanely funny.
Archerbroke pretty much every preconceived notion on how to create a successful series. But animated or not -- and yes, it's rated MA -- the show managed to fit in perfectly with the comic sensibilities of the FX audience (and fans of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in particular).
The key was great writing and one of the best voice casts on television. Created by Adam Reed (who did Sealab 2021and Frisky Dingo for Adult Swim), Archer centers on the International Secret Intelligence Service, a group of spies and ordinary office workers who are extremely dangerous at what they do (yes, both groups) when not stumbling over, undermining or yelling at one another. The beauty of Archer is that it's essentially an office comedy. Imagine James Bond having to fill out travel expenses and deal with HR violations, etc.
The woman running ISIS is Malory Archer (Jessica Walter), who gripes a lot about the group losing money, lives a privileged life and has dubious sexual ties to any number of foreign dignitaries. Her son, Sterling Archer (the incredible H. Jon Benjamin), has first-rate spy chops that are undermined by his laziness and predilection for women, booze and complaining. Benjamin's vocal theatrics are the linchpin of Archer, mixing rants, mumbling, whining and a stop-and-start delivery style that is note-perfect for comedy.
Aisha Tyler is also wonderful as Lana Kane, the ridiculously curvy and supremely dangerous spy/assassin who used to be Sterling's girlfriend and now despises his childish manners. Others in the stellar cast include Chris Parnell unsecured loans(Cyril, the pill-popping comptroller and nerd of ISIS), Judy Greer (Cheryl/Carol, the incompetent secretary to Malory and a person whose name Sterling can never get right), Amber Nash (Pam, the wildly inappropriate head of HR) and George Coe (Woodhouse, Sterling's completely abused manservant).
Season 2 of Archer kicks off Jan. 27 with one of its best-to-date episodes, "Swiss Miss," in which Sterling is put in charge of protecting a Swiss billionaire's daughter while Malory is trying to milk him for funding. The trouble is that the girl is bad credit loans a nymphomaniac, and Sterling has to fight her off while fighting her kidnappers. Like any episode of Archer, telling the jokes does them no justice. You need to find out for yourself why this series is such a politically incorrect gem.

Frisky Dingo, needs season 3

Anybody still questioning whether Frisky Dingo is in fact the funniest program on [adult swim] right now will not have to look any further than this week's hilarious episode "The Issues." Fans of the series and new-comers alike will get a comedic charge out of the offensive and witty dialogue which as made Frisky Dingo such an underground hit. While the previous two episodes of this season have only given us a taste of what was to come, this week's episode blows the doors right open and brings on the Killface/Xander Crews presidential campaign.

Fans of Xander Crew's character will be happy to know that this week, Crews is back in cocky billionaire mode, as he runs on the Republican ticket for President. While last week had Frisky Dingo's best character subdued with an off-beat story about Xander's downfall, this week Crews is back in charge - making bad decisions and distasteful comments left and right. Starting with Xander's idea to stop immigration - an overpass from Mexico to Canada (which he calls by a name which I won't use in this review) - this episode lets you know that the hard hitting political issues will be tackled this season… only done in the most humorously wrong way possible. Fans of Xander's character will know that the series is in top form when Crews confronts the media (on his private jet) about educational reform - which degrades into Xander offering boob jobs to high school teachers and students alike.

Best file photo ever!
On the other hand we have the Democratic nominee for the President of the United States: Killface. In "The Issues" Killface has a smaller role, as he, Wendell, Dotty and Taqu'il spent most of the episode deciding how to best counter Crews' campaign. While we would normally expect more off-the-wall humor from the massive ex-super-villain, it was nice to see that he has his place within unsecured loans this season's storyline - as the grounded opponent to Xander's insane regiment. Also, the relationship between Killface and Taqu'il is very funny, as the rapper is the more politically minded of the two - which has plenty of potential for the rest of this season.

While we were laughing constantly throughout the whole episode, there was one scene in particular that we need to point out - which is the first scene with Xander Crews and Stan. This re-introduction to the Xander Crews character worked perfectly, as it didn't take more than ten seconds for Xander to spout out an ignorant and racist comment. Sure, a lot of what Crews says in this scene is extremely bad credit loans offensive, but as with all comedy, if it's funny it's funny - and this scene was hilarious. Now let's just hope that Xander really does bring Fred Dryer into his campaign!

What we enjoyed most about "The Issues" however, was the fact that it employed the offensive madcap humor which made many of us fans of the show in the first place. The balance of story, character and humor is what makes Frisky Dingo so great, and with this week's episode, we are now able to see just how great the rest of the second season can be - and with ten episodes left, that means that there is plenty for us to look forward to.

sun sea and suspicious parents - ibiza

So this week it was the turn of our favourite island IBIZA on sun, sea and suspicious parents on BBC3.
The show followed round a group of 4 lads from Portsmouth & 4 girls from Preston as they went on their first holidays abroad without their parents. They couldn't have picked a better destination that the iconic island we all love. unsecured loans Most people always think this type of show is bad for the reputation of a holiday location as it tends to highlight the worst parts and totally ignores all of the great things there are to see and do not to mention highlight all of the amazing clubs and parties that bring us all back each year.

The whole of this episode was filmed in and around the West End in San Antonio which is renowned for being your bog standard 18-30s style place where you drink to get as drunk as possible, pull as many members of the opposite sex as possible and usually end the night throwing your guts up. As expected bad credit loans all this did happen and was shown but did it really make Ibiza out to be a bad place... I certainly don't think so.

What you have to remember is this programme only showed 8 people spending one week in Ibiza, the season lasts for around 20 weeks and has just slightly more than 8 people involved.... J
From the reactions I have seen from many people they are not happy with the way Ibiza was shown as it is not the true Ibiza, but it actually was portrayed perfectly for groups of young people who want to get away for a week and have a laugh and a good time with their mates. The programme can't go and film all of the amazing superclubs, beaches, restaurants and bars that are on the island if the people they selected to film don't go to them.

There is of course so much more on offer than what was shown tonight and it is these things the programme failed to show you that brings so many of us back year after year.
I for one couldn't think of anything better than spending a Sunday down at Bora Bora followed by We Love at Space or even chilling down at Cafe Mambo's watching the idyllic sunset with a cocktail in hand. Everyone goes on holiday for different reasons many enjoy what was shown tonight and many will hate that type of getaway, who cares which if your preference so long as you have a good time.

For all you Ibiza regulars out there you'll know all this already and can't wait to get back to the White Isle to join in and/or avoid the ongoings that were seen tonight.

Anyone out there who is an Ibiza virgin out there, don't let SSSP make your mind up about whether to go or not, get yourself to the island and see what it's all about for yourself. If you enjoyed what you saw and can't wait to get involved with that then great, we can wait for you to arrive.
If you didn't really like what you saw and are a bit put off now.....don't be! As we've said this only showed a  tiny bit of what really goes on in Ibiza, if you didn't like what you saw i know for a fact you'll love chilling out watching the sunset at Cafe Mambo, Cafe Del Mar or Savannahs or heading down to Bora Bora. The programme only showed one of the major clubs Eden and that was for a split second, you've still got Amnesia, Pacha, Space, DC 10, Privilege and Es Paradis to check out
I know many people who have no interest in drinking or heading to any of the big club nights, they simply come to Ibiza because it genuinely is one of the most beautiful and fantastic holiday destinations there is.

Make sure you make the right choice and head over to Ibiza this summer for whatever reason it is you want to. Each and every person....the crazy drunks, the music lovers and the people who avoid all that altogether all make Ibiza exactly what it is and why it is loved by so many.

We hope to see many of you over here this summer and hey you never know.......some of you make make an appearance if there is a third series J
Feel free to comment with your views on the show and why you will be heading to Ibiza this year.
