sun sea and suspicious parents - ibiza

So this week it was the turn of our favourite island IBIZA on sun, sea and suspicious parents on BBC3.
The show followed round a group of 4 lads from Portsmouth & 4 girls from Preston as they went on their first holidays abroad without their parents. They couldn't have picked a better destination that the iconic island we all love. unsecured loans Most people always think this type of show is bad for the reputation of a holiday location as it tends to highlight the worst parts and totally ignores all of the great things there are to see and do not to mention highlight all of the amazing clubs and parties that bring us all back each year.

The whole of this episode was filmed in and around the West End in San Antonio which is renowned for being your bog standard 18-30s style place where you drink to get as drunk as possible, pull as many members of the opposite sex as possible and usually end the night throwing your guts up. As expected bad credit loans all this did happen and was shown but did it really make Ibiza out to be a bad place... I certainly don't think so.

What you have to remember is this programme only showed 8 people spending one week in Ibiza, the season lasts for around 20 weeks and has just slightly more than 8 people involved.... J
From the reactions I have seen from many people they are not happy with the way Ibiza was shown as it is not the true Ibiza, but it actually was portrayed perfectly for groups of young people who want to get away for a week and have a laugh and a good time with their mates. The programme can't go and film all of the amazing superclubs, beaches, restaurants and bars that are on the island if the people they selected to film don't go to them.

There is of course so much more on offer than what was shown tonight and it is these things the programme failed to show you that brings so many of us back year after year.
I for one couldn't think of anything better than spending a Sunday down at Bora Bora followed by We Love at Space or even chilling down at Cafe Mambo's watching the idyllic sunset with a cocktail in hand. Everyone goes on holiday for different reasons many enjoy what was shown tonight and many will hate that type of getaway, who cares which if your preference so long as you have a good time.

For all you Ibiza regulars out there you'll know all this already and can't wait to get back to the White Isle to join in and/or avoid the ongoings that were seen tonight.

Anyone out there who is an Ibiza virgin out there, don't let SSSP make your mind up about whether to go or not, get yourself to the island and see what it's all about for yourself. If you enjoyed what you saw and can't wait to get involved with that then great, we can wait for you to arrive.
If you didn't really like what you saw and are a bit put off now.....don't be! As we've said this only showed a  tiny bit of what really goes on in Ibiza, if you didn't like what you saw i know for a fact you'll love chilling out watching the sunset at Cafe Mambo, Cafe Del Mar or Savannahs or heading down to Bora Bora. The programme only showed one of the major clubs Eden and that was for a split second, you've still got Amnesia, Pacha, Space, DC 10, Privilege and Es Paradis to check out
I know many people who have no interest in drinking or heading to any of the big club nights, they simply come to Ibiza because it genuinely is one of the most beautiful and fantastic holiday destinations there is.

Make sure you make the right choice and head over to Ibiza this summer for whatever reason it is you want to. Each and every person....the crazy drunks, the music lovers and the people who avoid all that altogether all make Ibiza exactly what it is and why it is loved by so many.

We hope to see many of you over here this summer and hey you never know.......some of you make make an appearance if there is a third series J
Feel free to comment with your views on the show and why you will be heading to Ibiza this year.
